No PNG gtk-stop icon (proposed PNG versions attached)

Bug Description

There is only an SVG stop icon (process-stop.svg/gtk-stop.svg/stock_stop.svg/stop.svg). This makes the stop icon look out of place on the Nautilus toolbar (and probably elsewhere) as its stroke and shadow aren't consistent with the other icons - see attached screenshots.

I have modified the Human SVG stop icon and exported it to PNG at 22x22, created a padded 24x24 version, and created the relevant symlinks just in case, and am attaching all of these.

Please push these into human-icon-theme before Edgy is released if possible and unless you disagree that it looks far better ;)

The SVG isn't for inclusion BTW - I just included it as the source of the 22x22 and 24x24 versions :)

For consistency, shouldn't it be a red cross? The other icons aren't badged (red holder for white cross) like this one... Someone forgot to link the dialog-cancel to this icon also. :(

Bruno, it's badged because it looks like the traffic stop sign in a lot of countries. Cancel is different anyway - it means abandon what is going on and go back to the way it was before. Stop means just that - halt and stay where you got to.

In other news, why the hell isn't this being included? Daniel, if you're reading this, Frank seems to be ignoring this, and I emailed him about it too. Just include it please! Should I put a poll on Ubuntu forums? I know what the outcome will be! :-)

I ignored this in the past since I had other, more important things to solve - I'm sorry. I have lost my authority so I can't really go ahead and ask anyone to do something anymore. I think your icon looks fine, although it changes the shape a bit compared to the current icon, it does look like an improvement though.

Somebody should definitely have a look at the provided icon here. Either to include it in the theme, or to reject it (hope for the latter...). It's been two years!
