Bug Description

Binary package hint: alacarte

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to Alacarte. Select System->Preferences in the 'Menus' pane.
2. In the 'Items' pane, the "GNOME Control Center" entry is disabled (its checkbox is off, and the text is italic).
3. Click on the "GNOME Control Center" checkbox to turn it on. It appears ANOTHER "GNOME Control Center" entry, below the original one, so now you have TWO entries: one unchecked and one checked.
