I can't uninstall imake and makedepend packages

doesn't look like a firefox-themes-ubuntu issue

What do they commands do?:
- sudo apt-get -f install
- apt-cache rdpends imake
- apt-cache rdepends makedepend

I really appreciate you filing this bug, but I'm not sure if I'm the most likely lad to fix it. If you could explain ot me what the relation of the bug is to the Firefox themes I'd be most honored to help you, but I can't make anything out of it right now, I'm afraid.

No it's not a firefox-themes-ubuntu issue, I'm sorry I changed this.

So I tried to uninstall xutils (which is a transitionnal package from Hoary to Breezy).

what about installing xutils-dev?

With smartpm, you can do this deletion. It will automatically install
xutils-dev.

I installed xutils-dev and imake and makedepend were removed. Should they not have been removed automatically during an update?

closing the bug. You probably installed those packages at some point, no reason for them to get automatically removed. the update-manager dist-upgrade mode does some clever actions like removing deprecated packages if you use to dist-upgrade though. Marking as rejected. Feel free to reopen if you disagree
