Bug Description
Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird
I configured a second outgoing SMTP server (Edit/Account Settings .../Outgoing SMTP Server/Add ...) and set it as default.
Still Thunderbird tries to send over the original SMTP server, which does not work because the From: field is wrong (it belongs to the secondary SMTP server). It should select the SMTP server based on the selected account in the From: Combo box (which correctly shows both identities).
The use cenario is that a customer wants me to use their SMTP server (which is SSL) for their mails because of the encryption.
Ubuntu Version is 6.06 LTS.
Thunderbird Version is 1.5.0.7-
Thank you
- Johannes

Sorry my fault. I didn't set the Outgoing Server in the Account settings correctly. Now it works. Please close the bug.
Thank you
