Binary package hint: xchat

ii xchat 2.6.6-0ubuntu3 IRC client for X similar to AmIRC

xchat open konqueror when opening URL. I run Gnome and my default browser is set to Firefox everywhere. Still xchat insist on opening URLs with Konqueror. And it used to not be (ie in Dapper).

run "sudo update-alternatives --config x-www-browser" set it to what you want as default browser. There may also be a setting in xchat for this.

right. it works that way. WTH doesn't xchat use the standard way like everyboday else. I guess I have to file a bug upstream...
