Bug Description

Binary package hint: udev

If you try to install the daily alternate amd64 kubuntu cd of 15 okt 2006 configuring the base-system fails because packages udev,pcmciautils,ubuntu-minimal couldn't be configured.

This is because udev doesn't set-up correctly. The fix is to create during the setting up of the base-system a folder /lib/modules/2.6.17-10-generic

The problem doesn't occur anymore on the feisty kubuntu builds so I think somebody already took care of this bug without noticing the bug-report
