Bug Description

This is new in Edgy. Fujitsu Siemens Amilo M3438G Laptop.

When going to hibernate, I get a black screen and the text:

pnp: Failed to activate device 00:04.
pnp: Failed to activate device 00:05.

And when returning from Hibernate, it's about the same, but with more stuff:

[17235847.160000] pnp: Failed to activate device 00:04.
[17235847.160000] pnp: Failed to activate device 00:05.

[17235847.932000] hub 3-2:1.0: hub_port_status failed (err = -113)
[17235847.932000] hub 3-2:1.0: hub_port_status failed (err = -113)
[17235847.932000] hub 3-2:1.0: cannot disable port 2 (err = -113)
[17235847.932000] hub 3-2:1.0: cannot disable port 3 (err = -113)
[17235847.932000] Restarting tasks...<6>usb 3-2: USB disconnect, address 8
[17235847.932000] usb 3-2.2: USB disconnect, address 9
[17235847.932000] usb 3-2.3: USB disconnect, address 10

This may not be totally exact and maybe it varies a bit because I copied this from dmesg.

Also, possibly related, it seems that if I have the power unplugged, Edgy thinks that my battery is at critical level for a short while after returning from hibernate, even if it is full, which has caused it to power back down some of the time.

All this worked and was not a problem in Dapper. Normal reboots etc works just fine.

These are harmless informational messages, though the language is quite worrying

If they are harmless, why are they shown at all? That's the real bug then.
