Thanks for your bug. Do you open an audio disc or a disk with mp3 files which would be a data disk? Could you get a backtrace with nautilus-dbg installed?

Hello Sebastien,

Thank You for responding

The disk has MP3 files (data)

I've not heard of or used nautilu-dbg before, but am willing if it doesn't
jeopardize my setup. It would be a pleasure to help, if I can.

-dbg packages don't modify the way your setup work, they are just extra details on the program which are used by the debugger to provider a better backtrace (the suit of functions listed by bug-buddy) by example. Could you install nautilus-dbg, get the crash again, and post the new backtrace from bug-buddy?

Hi Sebastien,

I found nautilus-db 2.10.0, have it on the desktop. When I click to open it,
it tells me that there are dependencies not satisfied. 'Don't know how to
proceed. 'Still very much willing, but not very smart.

nautilus-dbg is a standard package, just install it with "sudo apt-get
install nautilus-dbg" or using synaptic, not need to download it on your
desktop and use gdebi

Hello ,

nautilus-dbg is not listed in the application lists with synaptic. I've not
done a "sudo apt-get" I presume its a root user command in terminal?

right, that's a command line command. You need the universe repository. You can also download the -dbg package matching you nautilus version and architecture and install it with gdebi if you prefer

you can install nautilus-dbg easily from synaptic

G'Morning Sebastien,

I found Nautilus-dbg. when selecting, I get this warning/error about
dependency.

nautilus-dbg:
Depends: nautilus (=2.14.1-0ubuntu9) but 2.14.3-0ubuntu1 is to be
installed

I suspect this isn't difficult, but then I'm not seeing it clearly. Any
recommendation?

Again, I appreciate your help.
