Bug Description
After running Nautilus under Xfce, Xfce's desktop is managed by Nautilus (my wallpaper changes to the one I was using in Gnome) and few seconds after turning it off in options ("let xfce manage desktop...") Nautilus steals the desktop again.
I was also running Evolution under Xfce - maybe it affected this somehow.

this is the way nautilus launches by default. If it is a bug it is a nautilus one not xfce-mcs-manager
