Bug Description

Hi

This is a whish, really. I think the trash should appear in the places section. To do this in my config I've included a .desktop file pointing to the trash: location, and then I've added it to /usr/share/applications/trash.desktop
here's the .dekstop file:

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=Trash
Name[es]=Papelera
Comment=View the trash
TryExec=nautilus
Exec=nautilus --no-desktop trash:
Icon=user-trash
Terminal=false
StartupNotify=true
Type=Application
Categories=Application;Core;
X-GNOME-Bugzilla-Bugzilla=GNOME
X-GNOME-Bugzilla-Product=nautilus
X-GNOME-Bugzilla-Component=general
X-Ubuntu-Gettext-Domain=nautilus

Now, to show it in the places menu I've included in /desktop/applications/main-menu/file-area/places

This makes it handy since I don't use the trash applet.

Thanks

Hi

I think this could be requested in upstream (i.e. novell's bugzilla) Anyone with an account that may want to ask for this? Or is it better to ask for this in debian bugzilla (since right now the package is taken from them)?

thanks

I've asked debian's package maintainer:
