[Edgy]Touchpad on Acer Travelmate does not work

Bug Description

I can't use the touchpad or the buttons at all. I used to work with Dapper. I think it worked the first period I used Edgy as well, but now it does not.

I have an Acer Travelmate 4072wlmi with Ubuntu Edgy.

Any other specs you need? Anything else, just mail!

This seems to be the case in Dapper as well wich I am currently running. Touchpad still not working.

Edgy is not supported anymore. Please reopen if you still have this issue in a later version of Ubuntu.
