Bug Description

I'll pass on what info i can, hopefully some if it can be usefull :0

I have 2 video cards in this computer - an nvidia [1], and a matrox [2] (results from lspci). Heres a few notes i know about whats involved:
* X freezes, but i think i can Ctrl+alt+del from a Virtual console ('i think' because when trying to start teh xserver from an error screen, it lets me c+a+d, but i cant get a response pressing numlock or caps lock)
* I havent tried sshing in - i dont currently have another computer handy
* this happens on teh -23 and -27 kernels, and on the dapper live cd (not sure if its a .1 or not)
* The crash happens if i'm using the AGP bus as my primary display chanel or my PCI bus (as set in bios)

any other info i can provide let me know - if i can get this going i can be free of nvidias binary driver :)

[1] 0000:01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV31 [GeForce FX 5600] (rev a1)

[2] 0000:04:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Matrox Graphics, Inc. G400/G450 (rev 82)

I tried to other Matrox cards which failed to load for their own reasons too. (so i have 3 not-working matrox's here).
4th time i got lucky. i'd still like the one this bugs about to work though!.

Ok, in the meantime I'll close the bug. Reopen if you can reproduce it.
