Bug Description

(Correction on card type from previous bug post)

Well, much like Edgy Beta, Edgy RC 1 produces a black screen when booting off of the CD.

I am able to get to the loading/splash screen, but after that - nothing.

I am running an ASUS board w/ a nForce 3 chipset, AMD64 processor and a NVIDIA "6600GS" AGP card. I also have two monitors attached on the same single video card, was using twin view in Dapper without any issues. But with Edgy, nothing....

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug before the final version of Edgy was released. We were wondering is this still an issue with Edgy? Thanks in advance.

Apparently my Gmail account was hacked into recently, so I ended up send off
all sorts of strange messages. Not sure what happened, but want to let
everyone know that I am aware of it and am working to lock the account down.
Clearly, Gmail is not very secure...
