Bug Description

When I did an upgrade from 06.06 to 06.10, I got the following bad behaviour - a popup came up (screen shot attached) complaining about 'nice value must be between -19 and 20'. Clicking 'next' made it just reappear. I hit cancel, and got a segfault.

DESTROY created new reference to dead object ' Qt::VBoxLayout', <> line 2176 during global destruction.

Forgot to mention that this was with "apt-get dist-upgrade"

Awesome. This has totally boned my system now.
I'm stuck in "please use apt-get install -f" mode, but when I do, I get the popups.

Sigh. This is my production machine - serves me right for trying to help out with a release candidate, I guess.

Hi all,
I resolved this issue resintalling x1-common-dev from synaptic (it appeared to be borken). It fixed the x11-common problem. Then I installed again xserver-xorg, and now it seems to work again.

Luck!
