Applications quits even if I don't ask it to.

Bug Description

I had several tabs open in Firefox and I think I moved to another application. Then I noticed that Firefox was not open anymore. I am using FF 1.5.0.7. Also Synaptic suddently quitted once when it was still loading something. Do I have contaminated system?

The OS is up-to-date Xubuntu 6.06.

Hi Jarno,

It sounds like firefox may have crashed. We need a bit more information though like a stack trace or instructions on how to re-create the crash.

As far as whether your system has been compromised, an application crashing probably doesn't indicate this. However, that isn't really the subject of a bug report, it is a support request. If you are concerned about security I suggest you ask at the forums or file a support request at http://launchpad.net/support.
