Bug Description
Binary package hint: human-gtk-theme
What that vertical marks are? It's not a somehow 10%, 20%... nor accurately aligned (there are always short piece in the end). What are they for? Just noise...
Reproduce:
Use human theme for GTK. Open any application with progress bar.

Thanks for your bug. That's a design decision for the Human theme. It's not possible to make a theme that everybody like, different people have different preferences, if you don't like that theme you are free to use an another theme. Marking the bug as rejected since that's not a bug
