Bug Description
On dapper my panasonic laptop was working perfectly reducing the screen brightness when on battery, full hotkey support, and gnome power monitor showed the brighness control.
on Edgy everything disappeared:
sony_acpi was loaded instead, i tried to blacklist it and force pcc_acpi to be modprobbed but no use
no /proc/acpi/pcc
no hotkey support
no brightness change on gnome power manager.
pity ;(

sorry no brightness control in dapper even before..but i could change by editing a file in /proc/acpi/pcc
