Bug Description
Binary package hint: mail-notification
After upgrading to etch, mail-notification can no longer start mutt when clicked with new mail waiting. When run from a terminal, mail-notification prints the message "no recipients were specified" each time it is clicked and should launch mutt. Mutt is specified as my preferred mail reader in System-
If I switch the preferred mail reader to Evolution it is able to start correctly. I also tried setting up a custom mail reader under "Preferred Applications" which would only start mutt in a terminal, but got the same "no recipients were specified" error.

Etch? Do you mean Edgy? If you really mean Etch, you should be reporting this on the Debian bug tracker: www.debian. org/Bugs/
