booting obsolete kernel

Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-image-powerpc

hello

i run edgy-ppc on my ibook.
i never installed a kernel on it, exept with regulars dist-upgrade.
uname -r give me:
2.6.17-6-powerpc
 but, it seem strange : http://vrac.effraie.org/snapshot1.png
2.6.17.6 is obsolete, and i cant symply boot the supported kernel.

Please don't mark bugs private unless they contain sensitive information or undisclosed security vulnerabilities. In this case, the bug contains neither, and marking is private seriously reduces the number of people who might see and be able to act on it.

When i was under Dapper, i had the same problem : all the new linux-image installed but booting on the old (given with the installation), and impossible to boot on the newest (with yaboot, it is automatic normally).
