"Open Link in Browser" now opens in w3m instead of firefox after upgrading to Edgy

Bug Description
I recently upgraded my Dapper system to the Edgy pre-release. After doing this, xchat stopped opening links in Firefox (maybe it has something to do with the switch to Firefox 2.0?), and started opening them in w3m, in a new terminal window.
Oddly enough, when I look at the "URL Handlers" list, the only entry is "Opera", and that entry doesn't even show up in the menu when I right-click on a link.
Perhaps this bug is related to bug 46446 or bug 65580, but since the conditions and error behavior of my case is different, I decided to file a new ticket.
