Sound constantly skipping in Edgy

After upgrading from Dapper to Edgy and my sound keeps skipping and jittering. My CPU usage is low (around 10%) and it happens on all audio, including the test beep in gstreamer-properties adn even cat file > /dev/dsp causes massive skipping... It was fine before upgrading to Edgy.
