Bug Description

I've installed eclipse from the repository. This eclipse version uses swt-gtk. I'm running Edgy AMD64.

When starting eclipse I get a dialog with the following text:
"An error has occured. See the log file /home/ilja/workspace/.metadata/.log"

The trace from the log file is this (BTW, running with the JavaVM from Sun gives the same result, except for the messages on the Java version.
