Since this bug is nearly two years old and Edgy is no longer a supported platform, I was wondering if this issue can still be reproduced or should be closed out?

Since this bug is against a version of Ubuntu that is no longer supported, and is most likely fixed due to the massive changes in the way xorg handles input, I am closing bug out. If you believe this is in error, please re-open.
