No audio device detected on Apple's eMac

Bug Description

In the early releases of Edgy the audio was working flawlessy but in the latest builds no audio device is being detected on an Apple's eMac.

I tried the command "sudo modprobe snd-powermac" and the "PowerMac Snapper" device becomes available but you have to insert it manually in /etc/modules..

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you, especially using newer releases? Thanks in advance.
