10:55 < hrw> btw - it is normal that I have cyan letters on lcd instead of white? www.flickr. com/photos/ hrwandil/ 5183679493/
10:55 < mru> missing red channel?
10:56 < hrw> will check in moments
10:56 < mru> try displaying something red
10:56 < mru> I've seen such things happen on beagle
10:56 < mru> with certain pixel format and alpha blending settings
10:57 < hrw> mru: yes - no red
11:01 < hrw> http://
11:03 < mru> try playing a video
11:04 < hrw> should be fun without red
11:05 < mru> I think you'll get red
11:05 < mru> only the gfx plane is missing red
11:05 < ogra> thats a known issue and X is usually fine
11:05 * ogra assumes its fbcon being bad here
11:06 < mru> it's just some confusion over pixel format
11:07 < ogra> right
11:07 < mru> different ideas of component placement within the 32-bit pixel
11:07 < ogra> which fbdev from X11 doesnt expose
11:07 < hrw> mru: so I have GBA instead of RGB?
11:08 < mru> no
11:08 < mru> fbcon is putting red in the ignored byte
11:12 < mru> what's at 0x580010a0 physical?
11:12 < mru> and what does 'fbset' output?
11:12 < hrw> Value at address 0x580010A0 (0x2abdb0a0): 0x2000191
11:13 < mru> so gfx is set to argb32
11:13 < hrw> mplayer -vo sdl works properly
11:14 < hrw> geometry 1680 1050 1680 1050 32
11:14 < hrw> timings 6837 104 280 3 30 176 6
11:14 < hrw> rgba 8/16,8/8,8/0,0/0
11:15 < mru> that's rgba32
