The program 'firefox-bin' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
  (Details: serial 118 error_code 8 request_code 146 minor_code 3)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

Thank you for your bug report. Can you please look in /var/crash for a firefox crash report. If its not there please install firefox-dbg and run a backtrace.
How to run backtrace:
1. install the firefox-dbg package.
2. in terminal type dbg firefox
3. at the > prompt type run
4. Paste output into a file and attach the file using the attach file link on upper left of this page.

there is a problem...

I installed the firefox-dbg package, but if I try to type "dbg firefox" I get an error...

root@v2410:/home/hfish# apt-get install firefox-dbg
Lettura della lista dei pacchetti in corso... Fatto
Generazione dell'albero delle dipendenze in corso
Reading state information... Fatto
firefox-dbg è già alla versione più recente.
0 aggiornati, 0 installati, 0 da rimuovere e 0 non aggiornati.
root@v2410:/home/hfish# dbg firefox
bash: dbg: command not found
root@v2410:/home/hfish#

what do I have to do? :(

Thanks for your bug report. Could you please install firefox-dbg and try to obtain a backtrace (or crash report) by following the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingFirefox This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

Which flash package do you have installed?
Which Java package do you have installed?
Which firefox extensions do you have installed?

Thanks
David
