Bug Description
This already happened some times (in various installations of ubuntu), but only now I'm reporting.
I put gwget to download an ISO (Ubuntu Edgy Eft in this case) and left for a long time. When i got back i saw that the download had reached 100% but didn't stopped, the "Remaining Time" was a really big number like 1546842321816548, and (the most strange thing) the actual file size continued to grow (beyond the total file size). So I stopped the download and went check the ISO file and it was 730 MB in size. If I put the download to continue it started again (even it being already 100% done) and the file size continued to grow, until i stopped again.
I ended up with a useless file, at least i couldn't burn it to a CD.
My system is a Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper Drake and Gwget 0.96, running on a Atlhon XP 2000+ (1666 MHz), 512 MB RAM, Via KT266 ChipSet, and the connection used was an ADSL 150k.
If there's any more information that can help and i didn't said, let me know.
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Thanks in advance.
