Bug Description
In a fully update Edgy Eft version:
I have disabled the spalh screen an boot and at shutting down.
When shutting down the shutting down message appears as it should.
Beside the normal deamons I have also diskencryption (cryptsetup) running. When closing down messages appears related to shutting down the encryption deamons (as it should).
However the layout is not as it should. It looks like
_______
*** shutting down etc (red)*** shutting down encrypted
disk (white)
shutting down encrypted message 2 (white)
_______
Note that the first shuttingdown message starts at the end of the regular red shuttingdown message.
It seems that the generic ubuntu shuttingdown message need an (enter) at the end so that not generic shuttingdown messages start at a new line.
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Thanks in advance.
