Bug Description

Binary package hint: emacs-snapshot

If I resize my emacs-snapshot window, be it "classic" or gtk2, my x server gets locked until I switch virtual console and then get back to X. Nothing is written to the terminal, and this happens only if I open a file, not with the scratch buffer.

Please provide more information how to reproduce this bug.

It tried to reproduce it and failed: x86 Gutsy, emacs-snapshot version 1:20070529-1 (GNU Emacs 22.0.90.1), both with Metacity and Openbox.
