Bug Description

While trying to install ubuntu ubiquity crased and told me to file a new bug with the following info.

Which CD is it exactly?

Could you please attach /var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman to this bug, by commenting on the bug's web page? Thanks in advance.

It was the normal i386 install CD.

The odd thing is, I tried it a minute or two later and it worked perfectly. When that install finished I clicked the 'Restart Now' button before remembering to copy the files across. Sorry.

That IOError may also be a hardware problem, but we'd need the logs to check that further. Closing the bug, please re-open if you see this again in later editions.
