No thinklight blinkage

Bug Description

ibm-acpi module is loaded, and switching the thinklight on and off via /proc/acpi/ibm/light works properly.

thinklight-fixperm segfaults immediately

Debug info:
gaim-thinklight: blink called with parameter: 2
gaim-thinklight: trying to toggle
gaim-thinklight: done reading old state off
gaim-thinklight: setting new state: on

I can confirm this problem, symptoms are the same.
It is broken since upgrading to Edgy.

same, perhaps the new version fixes it? http://people.debian.org/~nomeata/gaim-thinklight/ I am not brave enough to try (aka too lazy but figured i would let you know..) too bad it's not community supported... meh.

Confirmed - this is fixed in Feisty. (Clean install)
