Bug Description
I'm withdrawing this report. I think that what was happening was they
texlive was picking up the wrong libpoppler.

I believe this error occurs both under tetex and texlive, when trying to include
a pdftex file generated by fig2dev.
The error occurs under Edgy; it works fine under Dapper.
