Bug Description

After i got the new version 2, gnucash doesn't start anymore:

I too am am having problems after a recent upgrade of gnucash to 2.2. The backtrace is:

I tested this on Gutsy, Feisty and on Gutsy upgraded from Feisty and I wasn't able to reproduce the bug yet.

To generate a backtrace which will help the developers to fix the bug, you can follow that procedure and attach the created files to that bug :

Can you provide more information about the crash and since what it happens?

1. does the crash happen every time?
2. Are-you on Feisty or Gutsy?
3. How did-you upgrade the package? Distribution upgrade? Simple update?
4. What is your CPU architecture? i386 or AMD64 ?

This may be due to a saved report or report settings of yours. May you take a look at ~/.gnucash and, if you find something, provide us with the offending scheme snippet?

Since this bug did not have answers during a long time, I set the status to invalid but please change the status to "new" if you can still reproduce the bug and provide needed information. Thanks for your contribution to ubuntu.
