flyspell-buffer on large buffers freezes emacs

Bug Description

Binary package hint: emacs

Flyspell freezes emacs when the buffer is large enough.

To reproduce from a fully patched edgy install:

1) Install emacs, ispell, and spell
2) Run emacs
3) From the menu, select Help->Emacs News
4) Meta x flyspell-buffer
5) Emacs freezes and has to be killed from the terminal

Expected result:
Should spell check the whole buffer rather than freezing emacs.

Workaround:

The current version of flyspell is 1.7i. Install the latest version of flyspell (1.7m) in your load-path and the bug no longer occurs. It is here:
