Can you please post steps to reproduce?

Also, do you have flashplugin-nonfree installed?

Not sure what caused it in the first place, so can't reproduce it. I was hoping the crash report might be useful by itself.

I do have the flash 9 beta installed:

    File name: libflashplayer.so
    Shockwave Flash 9.0 d55

OK - well when you open firefox does it immediately crash? Can you visit a few sites?

What is your start page? Does it have flash on it?

No no, this was a one-off crash. I had a few tabs open at the time, so I don't know what might have caused it. I submitted this because I thought it might be obvious to a developer what made it segfault from the crash report. I'm guessing that's not the case.

Thanks for your bug report. Could you please install firefox-dbg and try to obtain a backtrace (or crash report) by following the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingFirefox This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

Which flash package do you have installed?
Which Java package do you have installed?
Which firefox extensions do you have installed?

It is of particular interest that you run apport-retrace against your crash report.

Thanks
David

Unfortunately, I've recently started using Debian instead of Ubuntu, so I won't be able to gather any more debugging info for this one. I honestly can't remember which packages/extensions I was using when this happened.
