Upgrading dapper to edgy doesn't work because of missing python-vte dependency in dapper

Bug Description

When I try to upgrade dapper to edgy I get:

/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/apt/__init__.py:17: FutureWarning: apt API not stable yet
  warnings.warn("apt API not stable yet", FutureWarning)
extracting '/tmp/tmplga3OI/edgy.tar.gz'
authenticate '/tmp/tmplga3OI/edgy.tar.gz' against '/tmp/tmplga3OI/edgy.tar.gz.gpg'
can't find DistUpgradeViewGtk

Thanks for your bugreport. I might add that this is most likely a missing python-vte dependency in dappers update-manager. Please install python-vte and you should be able to use the update-manager.
