Bug Description

I am not able to configure net on ASUS M2NPV-MX it has on-board lan and uses nforce 6150 chipset drivers. When I tried to install the drivers i get such ERROR:"Unable to find the system utility 'ld'; please make sure you have the package 'binutils' installed. If you do havehave binutils installed, then please check the 'ld'is in your PATH." When I checked the Synaptic Manager it had binutils installed and I can't install anything as net is not available. This is the drivers: ftp://dlsvr02.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socketAM2/M2NPV-VM/Chipset6150_Linux.zip
