Bug Description
Upon Loging out, shuting down or restarting I randomly get a TV like static screen, for lack of a better descriptor. I have gotten this in the past but it had not be a problem again. I had not made any changes that might have caused it initially or that might have caused it to go away or return. I have all the updates in place.

Thanks for reporting this bug in Ubuntu. Can you please test to see if it occurs in Feisty or a newer version of Ubuntu? If so, can you please also attach your /etc/X11/org.conf and /var/log/Xorg.0.log files, and the output from lspci -vv? A screenshot or digital photograph might help as well.
