Bug Description
I have installed and re-installed sun java 1.5 jre through Synaptic, but a java tester at www.javatester.org states that java applets can be run under "HTML Tricks" but not under java scripts. I was attempting to try another tester when the crash occurred.
After seeing your problem report for firefox, I opted for "Restore session" in order to be able to see your report, but even now the browser is sluggish and very slow to respond.
I shall send the attachment file in your problem report, after I restart and figure out how to do that.
