Bug Description
Binary package hint: nvidia-glx
Updating nvidia-glx to version 1.0.8776+2.6.17.6-1 (proposed by the automatic update) did not ask for a restart in any way.
This is a potential serious issue for an unexperienced user, as running an opengl app immediately afterwards results in a black screen, with no visual way of exiting.
User might be tempted to just hit reset.
