There is no way to reactivate expired team membership

Bug Description
If my membership is expired (I am on the inactive list for a team), and I try to rejoin the team, I only get notification that my membership expired but there is no further action suggested for me in order to to reactivate it.
Team owner should get notification about people trying to reactivate their membership.
