Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

During the ISO testing for Natty Alpha 2, I tried to do a OEM installation. (no network)

The installation was fine, but, after preparing for end user, when rebooting, the oem-config process never finishes.

The user selects the language and time zone, but, after that it crashes and it starts again. If it gets to the user and password selection phase, then the system freezes.

I will attach the installer logs and the system syslog

The X server crashed, so you should collect a full backtrace.

Maybe dupe of 714829, in which X (apparently) crashes due to an out of memory situation.
