Bug Description

Binary package hint: acpi

on HP nx 7400 notebook, the battery information is incorrect and no reaction on AC cable pluging and unpluging.
when removing psmouse module from kernel before reboot or shuting down, everything works.

I can confirm this bug (tested with 2.6.17-10-generic, 2.6.18.2, 2.6.19-rc6) and workaround on a HP NC2400 laptop.

Can you please check if this works in Feisty (with the newest 2.6.20-14 kernel)?
