[Feisty] Fonts in X hate me

Bug Description

I don't understand the problem, so I couldn't write a more descriptive title. However, I have noticed that many fonts in X - eg GDM, X-Chat - render fine, but don't display their character. See the attachment for a thousand words. It seems that there is only one lib causing this problem, however, and that Firefox and OpenOffice do not use that. That is how I can write this now.

I reconfigured fontconfig :)

I am closing this bug, but beware, of other similar reports. If it happens to me, I don't do anything to deviate from "standard" font config, so I'm sure it'll happen so someone else - surprised that it hasn't sooner, though...
