Bug Description

Xubuntu Dapper 6.06
0x8086/0x0100
Intel 82740 AGP
X version 7.1.1, module version 1.1.0

Realplayer 10, VLC, etc.
Video playback blank in applications. Only background raster shown. No error messages in logs or dialogs. Works correctly with vesa.

Reproduced in Mandriva 2007. Most likely a driver issue. Reported to X.org team:

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
