Bug Description

I have been trying to install the latest ati driver on Edgy. I was seeing:

./ati-driver-installer-8.31.5-x86.x86_64.run --buildpkg Ubuntu/edgy
Creating directory fglrx-install
Verifying archive integrity... All good.
Uncompressing ATI Proprietary Linux Driver-8.31.5....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Generating package: Ubuntu/edgy
[: 182: ==: unexpected operator
./packages/Ubuntu/ati-packager.sh: 182: pushd: not found

... etc...

Spoke with Sethk on the freenode ubuntu server and he suggested it might be because "dash" is used on Edgy instead of "bash". To test this out I renamed dash to dash.bak and copied over bash to dash. The script now properly executes.

Someone needs to contact ati to fix their install script or Edgy needs to go back to the bash shell ;)

Sorry, this is not a Ubuntu bug, you need to report the bashism to Ati. Please keep reporting bugs :)
