Bug Description

Binary package hint: schoolbell

Hi!

I've just installed Schoolbell on my Edgy (i386) and it runs fine... almost. I can see the calendar, I can log in as manager, but I can't add new events or new users. I've searched the net but didn't find any help so I think it's a bug.

I always get this message: A system error occurred.

Hi,

Thank you for submitting a bug report. By looking on the internet, I found your bug reported upstream at http://issues.schooltool.org/issue513 . It seems that there is a bug in zope3 and a patch needs to be applied.

This is actually being handled on https://bugs.launchpad.net/schooltool/+bug/80195 -- since upstream has moved to Launchpad, that's where the actual upstream bug resides.
