Binary package hint: xserver-xorg

Hi!

I recreated a new xorg.conf file yesterday using dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg. That creates a configuration that freezes my computer as soon as I start glxgears.

I am using a thinkpad T43p (see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/ThinkpadT43p-2668) using a VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc M24 1T [FireGL M24 GL] (rev 80) (according to lspci).

Works with xorg 7.2 which is now in feisty.
