I have the same behaviour systematically after resume, on my Lenovo 3000 N100 0768-B9G
after an upgrade from Ubuntu 6.06 to 7.04.
I didn't experienced previously the problem with Ubuntu 6.06.

Is there any solution or work around to this problem ?

Hi, i had the same problem. The workaround is to add i8042.nomux to your bootloader's kernel parameters. In my menu.lst is in this way: kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.20-16-generic root=UUID=0ed21ce1-3de9-4a4e-afdc-25908d5bbed8 ro quiet splash i8042.nomux

For me it works!

Hi David,

Can you confirm if this is still an issue with the new 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon Release? Thanks!
