Bug Description
unbuntu 6.10
checkgmail 1.10-1 (from the ubuntu edgy repos.)
networkmanager 0.6.3
when checkgmail has been started prior a connection is established (e.g. startup), the error message (and broken checkgmail-symbol) is present, even if the connection exists in the meanwhile and a message poll works correctly.
a restart of checkgmail is the only way to solve the issue.
thx martin

instead of www.gmail.com try mail.google. com/mail/ feed/atom it is set to that in mine by default on feisty and it works so maybe that is why.
